Starting Therapy

How much you get out of therapy depends a lot on how open and involved you're willing to be. Sometimes that means feeling uncomfortable. Talking about strong emotions associated with painful memories can worsen your symptoms of anger, sadness, or anxiety.

There’s no quick fix, and I can’t promise that your life or behavior will suddenly change. But I do deliver my presence, skills, training and nervous system to help you notice patterns in your life, and to support you as you figure out what you want and where you want to go.

Scheduling a session

I (Grayson) usually schedule sessions week to week, depending on our mutual availability. Sessions can be held in person or online and you schedule the session(s) with me.

I was lost when I started therapy and Grayson is the only therapist I’ve spoken to about my hardships, I have never felt the need to look for another therapist.

Attending a session

We will meet together for the agreed upon time and I will answer any questions you have for me about the online forms you completed prior to our session. After that, I will start my assessment to determine what your personal or relationship needs are. My assessment process for individual therapy can be found here and for relationship therapy can be found here.

Online sessions are held on Zoom and the link is found in your confirmation email.

In-person sessions are held at: 169 Saxony Rd. Ste 205, Encinitias, CA 92024

My doorways and bathroom access are ADA-compliant and can easily accommodate any needs you may have.

Next session(s)

Depending on your needs, and my availability we will always talk about when you would like to come back for another session. We meet when you would like to, I dont ask or force anyone to come in sooner than they would like.
