Couples and RELATIONSHIP Therapy
I am an expert at helping couples using the Gottman Method for Couples Therapy. This is a research-based way to help your relationship foster friendship, manage conflicts and create a shared relationship culture that is satisfying. This model starts with Assessment and ends with follow up. All of these details are listed here. If you and your significant other are committed to making your relationship stronger, this type of therapy fortifies the relationship by improving conflict management, communication, friendship, emotional connection, and intimacy.
Individual Therapy
I work with individuals using Intense Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (IS-TDP). IS-TDP is for adults looking to heal from the past to revive healthy emotional connection and expression with self and others. You can learn more about this approach here.
Kids
I also work with kids if they are willing to talk instead of play in therapy (usually this happens around 12 years old). I have worked with kids in a Acute Psychiatry setting as young as 4 years old, but do my best work with people who do not need play interventions for therapeutic impact.
Ordered Counseling
I do not work with people needing documentation for legal purposes (ex. meeting for 10 sessions to show a third party attempted progress) or those needing supervised visits with children/dependents. This would also include aftercare plans of counseling for a certain number of sessions to meet third party goals.
