The Seven Principles Couples Program is great for couples contemplating engagement, for pre-marital couples, and for couples who have been together or married for decades. Diverse groups have the advantage of working through the material with couples in different phases of relationship which normalizes the ongoing process of working on relationships and dealing with perpetual problems. The workshop is fun and engaging in ways that will help your relationship flourish.
Couples with severe relationship distress, significant emotional or physical abuse, serious emotional or mental health problems, relationships where one or both partners are actively addicted to drugs or alcohol, and relationships with serious compulsive behavior with gambling, sexual acting out and other compulsive behaviors.
Meet Grayson
I am a seminary grad who practices counseling in San Diego. I have sought out extra training in the Gottman Method to help couples who are in dull and conflicted relationships. I know that Christian couples get stuck in their relationship but don’t know what to do other than forgive one another and look to one another’s needs. All Biblical concepts, but there is much more to relationships than expecting the other to fail and then forgiving them.

Here’s the plan
The Gottman’s set out to try to find out why some relationships end in separation while others seem to flourish. They have found that couples who work on seven different attitudes and behaviors have rich, meaningful and satisfying relationships.
The good news is that couples who don’t do these seven things, can revert their relationship by focusing intentionally in these areas!
We will focus lecture content, activities and videos for learning about strong friendship, conflict management strategies and developing deep shared meaning.

Your space is used throughout the week and on Sundays, but what about a Saturday? Bring your couples to your space and I will deliver the content, lecture time and we can work together to best support your couples.

The reality is that Christian couples do not have a better divorce or separation rate, and satisfaction for Christian couples is marginal at best. Plus couples wait six years (on average) before they get the help their relationship needs.
Working on friendship, conflict management strategies and developing deep shared meaning for their relationship only takes six hours.

Program pricing & Admin time
Each couple’s resources cost $50 ordered directly from The Gottman Institute.
Each 6 hour class is $1,250 plus $500 per each additional instructor.
Classes can be run throughout the weekend, ratio of instructors/support persons to couples is 1 instructor/support person to 15 couples (30 persons).
This ratio helps with Q&A and a variety of lecture styles with larger groups becomes more important to maintain engagement.
Grayson’s Event Preparation time is free as a ministry to your Church Congregation which includes:

All digital resources, checklists and content to help you promote the class will be delivered digitally at the first call.
Anticipated admin/preparation time for host: 40 hours total for the entire course.
